Chelsea clearly not shy on dropping £100mil plus on players to slot into the XI, so I assume it will be hard to break in. When you see how previous youngsters at Chelsea have fallen by the wayside, loaned out to a new club each season, I wonder how these two will end up!
Different clubs have different processes but I do fear for the Chelsea lads a bit. They get signed as future first teamers but then Chelsea go spend £500m on first teamers on top. But it's a wait and see, I guess. Casadei had a good loan, but we saw Chukwuemeka not really get meaningful minutes.
Totally agree. The first thing I thought when I saw Páez had signed for Chelsea, after hearing good things, was why oh why! Total assumption but I would be willing to bet they’re offering higher wages to these youngsters than the majority of other clubs would. Hopefully we get to see them in action!
