There we have it. The 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup quarter-finals are set.
The scintillating Malians will play Morocco in a replay of their U-17 AFCON semi-final; Uzbekistan will continue their fairytale run against a stumbling French team; an all-European quarter-final will see Spain face continental champions Germany, and headlining this round of matches is the massive SuperClasico between Brazil and Argentina.

But before that, we’ve got some Round of 16 matches to get stuck into.
It was a strange set of matches. Some thrashings, two shootouts, a massive upset, some incredible games, and one of the worst we’ve ever seen (cough France-Senegal cough).
For now, we say farewell to eight more teams: the USA, Mexico, Venezuela, Senegal, Iran, Japan, Ecuador, and, remarkably, England. We hardly knew ye.
